Creative Work

The miniature as shown is a main center of an army camp. This miniature is entirely made of satay sticks using the method of traditional lashings instead of gum-sticking. The lashings are one of the traditional ways of building shelters before the invention of nail. Shelters that were being built are usually simple and just for the purpose of fulfilling one of the human basic needs. However, creative works have been planned on this miniature by shaping it into a modern building instead of a simple and traditional one. The combination of the conventional building method and modern design is the most valuable part of this miniature.
